Another success
“Just a quick note of thanks for what was truly outstanding couple of days at the CCA Convention. I have taken an enormous amount away from the event and feel even more inspired to transfer some great ideas change initiatives that I have learnt into the Contact Unit Offshore.”
“Just a note of thanks from my colleagues and myself for the excellent convention. The organisation and content was first class and we all of us came away with learning and food for thought that will be valuable in our operations”
“Thoroughly enjoyed the event and thought it was great value for money”
“I personally gained a lot from attending the conference, the breakout sessions I attended and the learning zones where a great success and felt that each of the speakers did an excellent job. Overall the mood of the conference seemed up beat despite the current financial crisis and the business connections I made will benefit my organisation in the long term.”
We are delighted to see that so many people attended CCA Annual Convention and from the positive feedback we have received, we can safely say - it was another success.
During the two-day programme more than 900 delegates were treated to a number of sessions addressing poignant industry topics all hosted by world-class keynote speakers – Robin Sieger, John Pearson, Shaun Smith, Dr Guy Fielding and Simon Montador. Fiona Bruce, one of BBC’s most prominent journalists, did a fantastic job chairing the Convention.
The stimulating breakout sessions, the topics of which were chosen by our members, were so in demand that some offered to stand to get in.
The Annual Convention also featured a host of additional learning opportunities such as the lunchtime drop in clinics and a well visited Learning Zone, which delegates used to benchmark and download our latest research papers.
As always, the Annual Convention also offered a range of networking opportunities.
All delegates were invited to the cocktail reception in the EICC before sitting down to enjoy the Gala Awards Dinner at the Dynamic Earth Museum to watch the announcement of the Excellence Awards winners. On the night we also managed to collect £7005.53 through charitable donations for Childline.
We also want to take the opportunity to thank all the sponsors and exhibitors who supported this year’s Annual Convention.
Of course Convention is just a snapshot of the year in the CCA calendar. We have events running UK-wide throughout the year. Remember to mark 30 April 2009 in your calendar for CCA London Convention and, of course, don’t forget to register for a prospect for the next CCA Annual Convention on 4 – 5 November 2009.
