Introduction
Although most of our 600 plus membership is located within the UK, currently about 3% are based overseas. Most overseas members are based within Europe however we do have active members as far away as Mauritius, India and Thailand. Additionally, some members have their head office based in UK however operate their contact centres from world-wide locations.
We have relationships with contact centre organisations throughout Europe and regularly speak/chair at conferences in France, Spain and Scandinavia. Industry leaders from the United States and Canada are frequent contributors to our annual event programme.
We support and participate in UK Government initiatives to promote the contact centre profession. We also work closely with the Regional Development Authorities across the UK to identify issues and secure continuity of high quality employment. As part of our drive to improve perception of the profession and to promote contact centres as a true public service our services are available to improve contact centres on a global basis and particularly where UK based members are operating overseas.
We aim to promote partnerships where we see it to be of value to the profession. Wherever we find effective people or organisations improving professionalism or developing useful products we will seek to introduce them to our members. We promote and facilitate relationships at all levels.
